Health Care Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Offer health measurements such as blood pressure checks, random blood glucose checks, weight and height measurements, random cholesterol checks.
  • Keep up to date with good practice, maintain core competencies as well as continue to develop the clinical skills appropriate for the role.
  • Help with preparations for clinical activities
  • Assist with the clinical stock ordering, equipment checking before use and safe storage after use.

Required Experience/skills:

Good Communication Good Compassionate Patient Caring easy-going nature Ability to Multi-task Have a friendly personality, be approachable.

What you need:

Experience isn’t needed as full training will be provided on the job and help you work towards a level 2 health and social care qualification.

Medical Receptionist

We are looking to recruit a reliable and flexible individual who would be working on the pharmacy’s front desk providing excellent reception service for patients using Jelly and Emis Web.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering telephone enquiries – you’ll be the first point of contact with our customers and either answering queries or directing them to the appropriate member of staff.
  • Able to book/cancel appointments,
  • Input patient data on the system, general administration duties. You will be expected to apply your understanding of patient confidentiality and attention to detail when undergoing this role.
  • Managing the diaries for each clinician
  • Managing reception responsibilities for each clinic
  • Raising invoices to clients

Required Experience/skills:

An excellent standard of written and spoken English (other languages advantageous)

Evidence of you giving first class customer service over the phone and in person from previous customer/client facing roles.

Experienced in working in a fast-paced changing environment.

Pharmacy Counter Staff And Dispensary Assistant

We are looking to hire an experienced pharmacy counter assistant. The individual must be able to communicate effectively in English, be energetic, presentable, well groomed, flexible, punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities:

  • ordering stock,
  • checking and putting away deliveries,
  • Over the counter (OTC) and P medicines
  • answering telephone queries,
  • Till management,
  • cleaning and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the pharmacy.

Training:

Ideally the applicant should have completed the medicines counter assistant course and have experience working in a pharmacy or clinical environment. Training will be provided to achieve NVQ level 2/3 qualification.
